She has been kind of standoffish lately, going to the FP and dissing me, not giving me any affection at all. Earlier today, I felt so... out of sorts that I finally went to bed and took a nap. She followed me in, and approached me very cautiously. She meowed at me and sniffed my breath a couple times. Then she went and made herself comfortable on the other side of the bed, far from me. Stinky came in sometime when I was asleep and made himself comfortable by my feet. He ain't skerd!
Just now, The Fuzz jumped up and nuzzled for a bit, but I can't help but feeling like it was sympathy affection, like just in case you die, I wanna get a snuggle in one last time....
I'm not dying.
I mean, as soon as we are all born, we are all dying. But I don't think I will be dying any time soon from this particular illness. Unless The Fuzz knows something I don't know. Animals can sense things that people can't....
I'm watching Dan Le Batard Is Highly Questionnable right now, and Papi is sick too! Poor Papi! I feel ya.
Anyhoo, I had to skip a job interview today. I was not quite sure how I look to other people, so I took a video of myself talking. It didn't sound too good. I would post it here, but since this is anonymous, I can't. And it wouldn't really be funny if I blurred out my face, because how I look is what makes it funny. I look like shit. My face is kind of puffed out.
I texted the guy who I talked to about the job. He had texted me the address, so I thought it was okay to text him back. I know he's probably busy all day interviewing people, so I didn't want to call. He seems like the kind of guy who wouldn't turn his ringer off, because he needs to field calls all day. The thought of calling him and interrupting an interview by him stopping to take the call, or looking at the number and silencing the phone is cringeworthy to me.
Oh well, the job was plating cold tapas at a wine bar. Not the most exciting. Of course, if he didn't fill staff and calls me to reschedule my interview, I'm there. But, we'll see.
