Even Stranger Still

This is the first time I have been on a trip with the FP, his mom and his sister and her husband, without the FP's dad.

Tomorrow is the FP's mom's birthday.  So, it's going to be a big weekend birthday celebration with good friends and family in Pittsburgh.

The FP grew up a couple hours from Pittsburgh, in the famed home of the most popular meteorologist, Punxsutawney Phil.  So,, my experience in Pittsburgh is flying in and then getting in a car for a one and a half to two and a half hour car ride, depending on who is driving and the weather conditions.

I've never spent one night in Pittsburgh.  So, this is the first of two.  Hopefully it will be a good weekend with minimal drama.  In the history of the FP's family vacations, most of the drama stems from the FP's dad.  So, take him out of the equation, and there should be less drama, right?  Well, we shall see.

In the meantime, I really need to get some damn sleep!!!
